Eric Botto

 "Houston-native tenor Eric Botto is best known for his vocal and dramatic versatility onstage. He has triumphed in leading tenor roles such as Alfredo in La traviata, Rodolfo in La bohème, the title role in Roméo et Juliette, and Nadir in Les pêcheurs de perles. He has performed in Italy and across the United States in New York, California, Texas, Florida, Colorado, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. In the summer of 2020, Eric experienced his first season with Chautauqua Opera and was privileged to perform in the world premiere of In Our Silence, a song cycle composed by Frances Pollock and text by Jerre Dye which focused on each of Chautauqua’s young artists and their experiences during COVID-19 isolation. He is excited to return to Chautauqua Opera this summer where he will perform the role of Spoletta in Puccini’s Tosca and Andrew Johnson in Virgil Thomson’s The Mother of Us All. Eric holds music degrees from Colorado State University and the University of Mobile and is currently an Artist Diploma student at the University of Colorado Boulder under the tutelage of Dr. John Seesholtz.”

 Bridget Cappel

Mezzo-Soprano, Bridget Cappel, has been praised for her “beauty of tone and honesty of feeling” with “a real mezzo-soprano voice that is very flexible.” Bridget was cast to perform the roles of Toypurina in Fort Worth Opera’s 2020 world premiere “Noches de Ópera” production of Zorro by Héctor Armienta and Siébel in Opera NEO’s summer fesLval production of Faust. She is a winner of the Opera Mississippi John Alexander National Vocal Competition 2019 in the young professional division and was a winner of the 2019 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions at the district level in Tulsa. Bridget has performed as a young artist around the country with Kentucky Opera (Mercedes & Carmen Cover, Carmen) , Des Moines Metro Opera (Paque]e Cover, Candide), Fort Worth Opera (Hansel, Hansel & Gretel, Maria Cover, Maria de Buenos Aries) Charlo]esville Opera, Seagle Music Colony, and virtually with Opera NEO. Other roles include Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Dorabella (Cosi fan tu=e), Carmen (La Tragedie de Carmen) Meg Page (Falstaff), Hermia (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Eliza Dooli]le (My Fair Lady), Mrs. Bass (Emmeline), and Toledo in The Falling and the Rising (wp). Bridget graduated with her Master’s in Music from Boston University with honors and has a BA in Film from Western Michigan University.

 Tjaden O'Dowd Cox

Tjaden O'Dowd Cox is a soprano from Mobile, Alabama. She holds a Bachelor of Music from James Madison University. She has been performing most of her life and has been fortunate to perform at Carnegie Hall and The White House, as well as study and perform in Germany, China, and all of the United States. One of her favorite moments was coaching "Les Oiseaux" (The Doll Aria) with internationally acclaimed soprano Kathleen Kim. Some of her roles include Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance), Susanna (Il Segreto di Susanna), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), as well as Cathy (The Last Five Years), Natalie (All Shook Up), and Hope (Urinetown). Tjaden is also a professional aerialist and owns a studio where she teaches aerial arts.

 Hosea Griffith

Hosea Griffith is currently pursuing a Master's degree in vocal performance from the University of Mobile. Hosea enjoys performing music whenever the chance arises, both musical theater and opera. A native of Jackson, MS, Hosea had the pleasure of portraying many role in Jackson and the surrounding areas, including the roles of Pablo in Sister Act, Joe in Show Boat, and Papageno in The Magic Flute. While pursuing graduate studies, Hosea was granted multiple performance opportunities, his favorites being Friar Laurent in Roméo et Juliet and Don Alfonso in Così fan tutte. Hosea is excited to be back in Mississippi for the summer.

 Daniella Jack

Daniella Jack is a 3rd generation Circus Performer originally from New York. Mentoring under world renowned hula hoop artist and mother, Anna Jack, she has acquired multiple circus skills such as contortion, hula hoop, aerial arts, unicycle, juggling, just to name a few. She has also starred in Dinner Theatres and other musical theatre productions as an actor, singer, and dancer in Orlando Fl. Combining her love of theatre with the circus, Daniella continues to amaze audiences with her unique artistry.

 Maryann Kyle

In high demand as a coach and teacher of various styles of singing, Maryann Kyle has dedicated her professional life to guiding singers and teachers in their pursuit not only of exceptional singing, but also captivating performance. Kyle has extensive experience teaching, coaching, and performing many genres of music and specializes in the technique of musical theatre high and power belting.  She is the creator of the PEDAGOGY OF STYLE which focuses on the integration of the voice and style into the total actor and is an active mentor of performers and teachers in the development of their creative language.

Maryann Kyle is an active performer of multiple genres and has shared the concert stage with some of world’s greatest artists including internationally known mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves, famed bass-baritone William Warfield, Patti Labelle, Dionne Warwick, and Patti Austin. 

Kyle leads the Teacher Fellowship program at the International Performing Arts Institute (IPAI) in Germany and a Professor and Graduate Studies Chair at the University of Mobile.

 Patrick McNally

Excited to be returning to Mississippi, Baritone, Patrick McNally is thrilled to get back to performing shows for live audiences. Most recently this season Patrick was seen with Opera North playing the lead baritone role in All Is Calm. This past season had Mr. McNally working on his first Twitch Opera as well as Asynchronous productions for online audiences including the world premiere of Eat Your Greens by Peter Hilliard and Matt Boresi. Patirck has been known throughout his career for his command of the bel canto repertoire, his stylish portrayal of Mozart, and his commitment to new works. Mr. McNally continues to delight audiences with a voice described as "robust" and "standout" by the Denver Post, reviewed as having a "Rich, expressive baritone," and with a "lively" stage presence reviewed by Opera News. He can also be heard on Tangling with the Epic, a CD of newly created English art songs to be released late in 2022 on the Cedille Records label. A live performance of the works will be given in Vienna this summer. Mr. McNally has performed at houses across the United States as well as internationally. Recent highlights include appearances at Des Moines Metro Opera, Central City Opera, Sarasota Opera, City Lyric Opera, Nashville Opera, the Center for Contemporary Opera, the Boston Lyric Opera, St. Petersburg Opera, and Die Eutiner Festspiele.

 Tony Offerle

A native of Miami, Florida, Anthony Offerle’s credits include performances with the OperaEstate in Rome, The Cincinnati Opera, Mississippi Opera, Intermountain Opera, Dayton Opera, Wyoming Opera, Pacific Opera, International Chamber Orchestra, Charleston Symphony, Savannah Symphony,  and the Piccolo Spoleto Festival. He has sung over 30 leading roles including the title roles in Don Giovanni and Don Pasquale. An active concert performer, Offerle served as guest baritone soloist in London’s Westminster Abbey and St. Paul’s Cathedral as well as St. Giles Cathedral in Scotland. The New York Amsterdam News said of his recent recital debut in Manhattan, "Offerle brought to his selections an exceptionally beautiful baritone, fine technical command and considerable interpretive skill. He proved to be a compelling singing-actor." 

Offerle is a two-time Metropolitan Opera auditions district winner and regional finalist, a national winner of the Federation of Music Clubs vocal competition, and one of only ten Americans selected to compete in the quadrennial Marian Anderson International Vocal Competition. He has studied with such renowned teachers as Italo Tajo and Andrew White at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Dr. Offerle is an Associate Professor of Voice at The University of Florida School of Music and Director of the UF Opera Theatre. Since 2000, he has served on the faculty and been the artistic director of the Operafestival di Roma in Italy. 

 Stacey Trenteseaux

American soprano, Stacey Trenteseaux, made her German debut in the 2018-2019 season as Luisa in Verdi’s Luisa Miller with Münchens Kleinstes Opernhaus at Pasinger Fabrik under the direction of stage director Marcus Everding and conductor Andreas Pascal Heinzmann. She recently sang at the Semper Zwei (Semperoper Dresden) in a fun, comic opera by American composer Liam Wade, Bua verliet’s Madl (im Bierzelt): Eine Oktoberfest Oper

Ms. Trenteseaux’s other operatic roles include Micaëla, Fiordiligi, Hanna Glawari, Suor Angleica, and First Lady. She enjoys exploring and collaborating on concert recitals both in Germany and the US. A few highlights include singing the premiere of PostSecret: A Song Cycle by award-winning Minnesota composer, Jonathan Posthuma at the 2016 New Music Composer’s Symposium in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, her solo recital debut with Ellen Rissinger in Mondenschein at the Cosel Palais, Dresden in 2018, and Moonlight & Magic as part of Opera Mississippi’s Opera in the Chapel Series at St. Dominic’s Chapel in Jackson, Miss. 

Stacey was a finalist and winner of various competitions including, 3rd prize for the American Prize Fridrich & Virginia Schorr Memorial,  Finalist in the Brava! Opera Theater Vocal Competition, and semi-finalist in the Antonin Dvorak International Singing Competition, 2nd place in the Voices of Mississippi International Scholarship Competition, and Winner of the 2015 William T. Gower Concert Competition.

In addition to her classical singing career, Ms. Trenteseaux offers services as an Artistic Project Manager and Consultant.  She works with individual artists and arts organizations to design and realize professional artistic projects through business planning, grant writing, streamlining production processes, and developing innovative programming and curriculum. She is passionate about helping artists develop a unique platform for their vision, legacy, and unique expression.
