Alexandra C. Trosper

 Alexandra C. Trosper completed her Master’s in Vocal Performance with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Colorado State University. Currently she is pursuing her Doctoral Degree at University of Mobile. Trosper was selected to be an apprentice artist for Opera Fort Collins, Colorado and has performed roles such as: Delah Gift of the Magi, HannahThe Merry Widow, Madame Hertz The Impresario, Johanna Sweeney Todd, The Governess The Turn of the Screw, Laticia Old Maid and the Thief, Queen of the Night The Magic Flute, Gretel Hansel and Gretel, Barbarina Le Nozze DiFigaro, Christine Phantom of the Opera, Lori Oklahoma, Cozette Les Misérables and Satine Moulin Rouge. Alexandra has performed internationally in both Germany and China. She has been a featured artist for: College Avenue Magazine, the Grand Opening of Harbor Springs Opera House in Michigan, Charles and Rita Ralph Opera Center Colorado, Dimond Black Ball in Vail Colorado, Boulder Symphony, Soprano Soloist for the Messiah in Grand Junction with Handel Choral Society. She will be making her debut as Suor Angelica 2022. 

 

Kamron Glover

Born in Warner Robins, Ga., tenor, Kamron Glover has performed various roles such as Ruggero in La Rondine by Puccini, Sam Kaplan in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene, Willie Stroker in the US premier of Choir Practice by Stephen Chatman, and Don Ottavio in Mozart’s Don Giovanni. Mr. Glover earned his BA in Music from Valdosta State University and his Masters degree in Vocal Performance from Georgia Southern University, where he was recognized as The Outstanding Collaborator in 2020. Currently attending the University of Mobile, Kamron is pursuing his Doctoral degree and will be a Young Artist with the International Performing Arts institute this summer.

 

Samantha Anselmo

Samantha is currently a doctoral candidate and voice teaching assistant at the University of Mobile. She is also on faculty at the University of South Alabama where she teaches voice, Diction for Singers, and Introduction to Music. Samantha was a finalist in the Madame Rose Palmai- Tenser Competition hosted by Mobile Opera in 2016, 2019, and 2020. She was also a finalist in the John Alexander National Vocal Competition hosted by Opera Mississippi in 2021. Some of her favorite moments on stage include Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Cosí fan tutte, First Lady in Mozart’s Die Zauberflote, and Gianetta in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore.

 

Kanani Crandall

Kanani is continuing her vocal education with Dr. Maryann Kyle at the University of Mobile pursuing Masters in Vocal Performance. During her seven semesters at Young Harris College under Mrs. Karen Calloway, she performed in two church choirs, Jazz Band, Pep band, YHC’s Mountain Community Chorus, Concert Choir and Chamber choir with at least one solo in every show. Ms. Crandall placed 3rd at the NATS South-East Regional level in 2020 and was a soloist at the GMEA Honor choir earlier the same year. With nine masterclasses and many honorary music awards and scholarships so far, she is excited for more experiences to come.

 

Austin Williams

Austin Williams is a Tenor from Carriere, Mississippi. Recently, he has performed with the University of Mobile as Ferrando in their production of Cosi fan Tutte, and Tybalt in their production of Romeo et Juliette. He has also performed with Opera Birmingham as The Witch in Hasel and Gretel. He has performed internationally with the most recent performance taking place in the Dominican Republic for an internationally televised Christmas concert. Austin is currently working towards his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Mobile with a focus in performance and pedagogy.

 

Bryan Jefferson

Bryan Jefferson, Jr. is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. He is currently a senior Vocal Performance Major at Jackson State University. His activities at Jackson State include Concert Choir, Chorale, J-Six male ensemble, and Outspoken Arts Collective. He is also a member of the DuBois – Harvey Honors College and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. In addition to his campus activities and success, he enjoys participating in community service. Bryan has been interested in the entertainment industry for as long as he can remember, acting in church plays and singing with the radio. He began taking singing more seriously when he joined his premier high school choir, the Murrah Concert Singers, under the direction of Mr. Pierrdro Gallion, in the 11th grade. He is currently studying with Dr. Phyllis Lewis-Hale as his voice instructor. Bryan realizes that his skills and abilities should not only be used to benefit him but to impact the lives of others as well, whether it be through singing, acting, serving food, gardening, or just helping out where needed.
